Privacy Policy
Last Updated: August 5, 2026
1. Introduction
Welcome to Denver Data Recovery. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and safeguard your information when you visit our website, use our iPhone application, or use our data recovery services.
2. Information We Collect
We may collect the following types of information:
- Personal Information: Name, email address, phone number, physical address, and other identifiers you provide when submitting a recovery request or contacting us.
- Device Information: Details about the devices you send us for data recovery, including make, model, capacity, and problem description.
- Case Content: Photos you choose to upload, case notes, quote information, and messages exchanged with our recovery team.
- Mobile App Information: Your account identifier, a random app installation identifier, Apple Push Notification service device token, app version, notification preferences, and limited notification-delivery diagnostics. These identifiers are associated with your signed-in account only to operate the app and deliver notifications you enable.
- Technical Information: IP address, browser type, operating system, and cookies when you visit our website.
- Communication Records: Records of your interactions with our customer service team.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your personal information for the following purposes:
- To provide and manage our data recovery services
- To communicate with you about your recovery request
- To authenticate your account and provide case, quote, photo, and messaging features in the iPhone app
- To deliver optional case and team-message notifications and prevent duplicate delivery
- To improve our website and services
- To send you updates and marketing communications (with your consent)
- To comply with legal obligations
- To protect our rights and prevent fraud
4. Mobile App Notifications
If you enable notifications in the Denver Data Recovery iPhone app, we associate an Apple Push Notification service device token and random installation identifier with your signed-in account. We send the token and a generic notification payload directly to Apple only as needed to deliver case-status, quote, and recovery-team message alerts. Notification payloads do not include message text, device details, filenames, photos, quote amounts, payment details, or recovered data.
Notifications are optional. You can change case-update and team-message preferences in the app or disable notifications in iPhone Settings. We disable the registered token when you sign out or request account deletion, and when Apple reports that the token is no longer valid. Authenticated in-app refresh remains available when notifications are disabled.
5. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. However, no Internet transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of your information.
6. Data Retention and Your Rights
We retain account, case, communication, and service records only as reasonably necessary to provide the requested service, maintain security and operational records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Notification tokens and related delivery records are retained only as needed to operate and troubleshoot the notification service. Account deletion requests disable notification delivery and are reviewed through our documented deletion process.
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:
- Access to your personal information
- Correction of inaccurate information
- Deletion of your information
- Restriction of processing
- Data portability
- Objection to processing
To exercise these rights, use the account deletion option under Account and Privacy in the iPhone app when applicable, or contact us using the information provided in the "Contact Us" section.
7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track activity on our website and to hold certain information. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent.
8. Service Providers and Disclosure
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to outside parties without your consent, except as described in this Privacy Policy. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website or servicing you, as long as they agree to keep this information confidential.
For iPhone notifications, Apple processes the app-device token and generic notification payload solely to provide Apple Push Notification service delivery. We do not use notification identifiers for advertising or tracking and do not use a third-party push-notification provider.
9. Children's Privacy
Our services are not intended for individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
